International Autumn School on the Digital Library and E-publishing

for Physics, Astronomy and Mathematics

The "International Autumn School on the Digital Library and E-publishing for Physics, Astronomy, and Mathematics" (directed by Richard Luce) will take place at the premises of CERN in Geneva, Switzerland from Sunday evening 9 September up to and including Friday 14 September 2001. Lectures start on Monday at 9:00 AM.

This International Autumn School is aimed at providing knowledge support to academic libraries, research libraries, and publishers in the current transitional phase and to identify new roles and opportunities for them.
The course is designed for library managers, librarians, reference librarians, subject specialists, publishers and other information professionals in the fields of physics, astronomy and mathematics. Advanced libraries will mainly be addressed, without excluding the less technically advanced libraries.
