Next year sees the World Year of Physics 2005 which aims to raise worldwide public awareness of physics and the physical sciences.

A summer school on the Digital Library and e-Publishing for Science, Technology and Medicine is planned for CERN from 13-18 June 2004
http://www.ticer.nl/04stm/index.htm. This is the second such school to be held at
CERN - the first was a tremendous success with the forging of many ongoing friendships and we expect another enjoyable week.
Registration should be made through the website before April 1.
