  • Institute of Physics Publishing (IOPP) has announced that its books publishing programme has been acquired by the Taylor & Francis Group .

  • American Physical Society is launching a new Open Access journal: Physical Review Special Topics - Physics Education Research

  • Springer is launching the "Springer Online Journals Archives" which will offer approximately 1,200 journals starting in 2005 by adding all content formerly published by Kluwer, as well as all content from Volume I, Issue 1 where available, from both the former Springer-Verlag and Kluwer.
    Springer Online Journal Archives will be offered in subject area packages.
